This is the first step in building a level about a villager ready to start their own journey. This block mesh is to show off the layout and design of the level before any finalized assets are added.

The young always want to live and see wonders. Today is the day that journey starts. Unfortunately, a boulder falls and blocks the main gate out of your village. Find a way to break the boulder and leave or another way out and leave the mess to the village elders.

This is the initial design of this level, laying out what the world will look like and giving a feel of how the level is played. The block mesh will be worked on and edited until a finished design is created.

Version 2

A couple of mechanics were added to this level to add gameplay. The textures and materials were removed and changed back to basic colors to show off only things I have created rather than finding things from other creators.

Mechanics Presentation

Below I go into my Blueprints to show the mechanics I have worked on. The inventory system is a bulk of what happens in the level due to it not only holding data, but displaying it, tracking it, updating it, having transferable items, dropping items, equipping items, and/or consuming items. The focus was to give the player the ability to have an inventory system to hold the objects they can interact with in the level.
